Long before I wowed 2nd graders (when I was a kid) with my command of the English language, I was reduced to a little bit of Chinglish (when I was still 5 in China — before I left for Switzerland). But that, folks, was it: the start of my English adventure. And when I graduated from university, I started finding myself involvements that would eventually turn me into a columnist or blogger — of sorts.

Here are some samples. I’ll start with text samples, then I’ll move on (progressively) to audio and video clips. Read through these to get “my way” of writing things. In short:

  • I hate spaghetti language full of jargon;
  • I like to keep it interesting and at times really funny;
  • I like to, through my writing, make super-difficult things appear easy.

我是在二年級開始學會用英文寫東西的，此前早在五歲（出國前）就熟悉一些英文了。大學畢業後，我所參加的幾項工作中，有不少是讓我寫專欄或者作為博客寫手的。

簡言之，我在寫文章時:

  • 比較反感使用過於複雜的語言；
  • 喜歡使用一些輕鬆甚至於有幽默感的語言；
  • 願意將「複雜的東西」變簡單。
